Sunderland AFC will welcome Carlisle United to the Stadium of Light next month, as the club continues its Checkatrade Trophy campaign.
Jack Ross’ side, who triumphed over Stoke City in a penalty shoot-out in their first game of the group stages, face the Cumbrians on Tuesday 9 October in a 7.45pm kick off.
The Black Cats chalked up the highest attendance of the opening round of fixtures in the competition, with 7,000 supporters enjoying the victory.
And with a healthy away support expected to make the journey across the Pennines, it is anticipated that figure will be easily surpassed.
Tickets for the tie are priced at just £3 for adults and £1 for over-65s and under-16s, if purchased prior to the day of the game.
A Black Cat Point will be given to all season card holders who purchase their tickets before 5pm on Monday 8 October.
Supporters are advised to buy their tickets in advance of the tie, as prices will be increased to £10 on the day of the game and there will be no concessions available.
In the interests of the safety, supporters who are not season card holders must have a purchase history recorded on the Sunderland AFC database in order to buy a ticket for this game
Tickets will initially be sold in the east stand, with other areas of the stadium being opened as required.
