Their chase for a play-off spot hots up tomorrow evening when they face sixth placed Gillingham.

Jack Diamond (Charlton Athletic 3-2 Carlisle United)

Diamond was part of a Carlisle United side that kept up their fight for League One survival but their efforts were quashed by Charlton Athletic over the weekend.

The winger played his part in a five-goal affair that ended in defeat at the Valley to leave them rooted to the bottom of the league with Diamond making his eighth appearance for the Cumbrians.

They host Barnsley tomorrow evening at Brunton Park.

Nectar Triantis and Eliezer Mayenda (Hibernian 0-2 Rangers)

A huge game on Sunday afternoon awaited for Hibs who came up against Rangers in the quarter-final of the Scottish Cup. Triantis was handed a midfield role for the crunch match at Easter Road.

Matty Young (Spennymoor Town 2-1 Darlington)

After a tremendous start to life at Blackwell Meadows with four wins in a row, the 17-year-old goalkeeper was between the sticks again for the County Durham derby over the weekend.

With the Quakers in the relegation zone by a point in National League North, they were pegged back in their push for survival after defeat at the Brewery Field. Young making his seventh appearance for Steve Watson’s side.
