AFCON Update: Khazri stars for Tunisia

Wahbi Khazri stole the show as Tunisia qualified for the knockout stages of the Africa Cup of Nations.

A scintillating first-half display saw the Eagles register a 4-1 lead at the interval.

Naim Sliti's deflected shot put Tunisia ahead before Youssef Msakni and Taha Khenissi extended their lead, but Knowledge Musona pulled one back on 42 minutes.

However, any chances of a comeback were up in smoke three minutes later as Khazri, who assisted the opening goal, converted from the penalty spot.

The 2004 champions will now play Burkina Faso in Gabon's capital Libreville on Saturday.

Elsewhere, Lamine Kone will be hoping to make his first appearance of the tournament when Ivory Coast face a must-win match-up with Morocco on Tuesday (KO 7pm).

After limping off in Sunderland’s defeat at Burnley, Kone is yet to feature for the Elephants who opened their tournament with successive draws against Congo DR and Togo.

The pre-tournament favourites now face a decisive fixture against Morocco who only need a draw to progress.

Dafabet are offering odds of 10/1 (was 15/2 on an Ivory Coast win, with Sunderland defender Kone priced at 11/1 (was 9/1) to score anytime.
