Sunderland AFC is advising supporters that the away trip to Gillingham is to move back 24 hours.
The Black Cats were due to play the Gills on Tuesday 21 August, at the Priestfield Stadium. The game will now be played on Wednesday 22 August, kicking off at 7.45pm.
The change has been made due to the knock-on effect of Sunderland AFC’s Carabao Cup first round tie against Sheffield Wednesday being selected for live broadcast and moved to Thursday 16 August, 7.45pm and the subsequent home game against Scunthorpe United moving to Sunday 19 August.
