Sunderland under-18s have been drawn into group C of this year’s Premier League Cup.
The Black Cats will face Derby County, Brighton & Hove Albion and Aston Villa once, either home or away.
The six group winners and the two best runners-up, decided by total points and then goal difference followed by head-to-head record, will advance to the quarter-finals.
Fixture dates, kick-off times and venues will be confirmed in due course.
