Sunderland under-23s have been drawn against Spanish club Athletic Club in the quarter-finals of the Premier League International Cup.
The young Black Cats topped group A following two wins and a draw from their opening three fixtures.
Athletic Club, meanwhile, progressed to the knockout stages after they finished runners-up in group F behind German side Hertha BSC.
As yet no date has been confirmed for the last eight tie. Further details will be confirmed in due course.
