What time are Sunderland games in Uruguay and do you watch them with other fans?
There is a difference of 3 hours between the United Kingdom and Uruguay, luckily it is a good time to watch the matches. I almost always watch matches alone.
Have you watched Sunderland Till I Die on Netflix and what did you think?
Of course I saw it! It seemed sad to me for the two descents, but outside of that, it was great, I felt there, with them, each episode I lived as if I were in the stadium. It also made me very happy to see that many people got to know the club that I love.
What inspired you to support Sunderland?
At first, since Poyet (Uruguayan) was the coach, I decided to watch some games. But then I completely fell in love with their fans, those beautiful White and Red colours, despite being at the bottom of the table they continued to support, they are undoubtedly the most loyal in the UK.
How long have you been supporting Sunderland?
Since Poyet was announced as coach (2013) I started watching all Sunderland games. I fell in love with the fans and the grit they put into playing each game. How can we forget that end of the season, saving us from relegation in the final and reaching the final of the Capital One Cup against Manchester City.
What are the plans for the Uruguay Supporter Branch?
The idea is that all those who like the club, or those who want to know about it, have a place to be informed in Uruguay. Also of course we would love to be able to travel and get to know Sunderland and all its wonderful people.
