Club representatives visit Tanzania.
Representatives from Sunderland AFC have been travelling across Africa this week, as the club continues to grow and develop its extensive links with the continent.
The club’s commercial director, Gary Hutchinson visited Nigeria and South Africa as part of the club’s ongoing business development throughout the African continent, with the trip culminating in a visit to Tanzania.
Officials and representatives from the Government, the national parks and the Tanzanian Tourist Board showcased some of the country’s most stunning sites including Mount Kilimanjaro and the stunning Ngorongoro Crater, a deep, volcanic crater, the largest of its kind, widely recognised as one of the most breath-taking natural wonders of the world.
Speaking about his visit Gary said: “Tanzania is quite simply a stunning country. I have been awe-struck by its beauty and I can see why it is a must-visit on the tourism map.”
