Poyet's message ahead of Sunday's game.

Gus Poyet has urged Sunderland fans to pack out the Stadium of Light when Cardiff City visit Wearside this weekend.

The Bluebirds travel to the SoL for a huge clash this Sunday (April 27), kick-off 12 noon.

Poyet's side notched a sensational win at Chelsea in their last outing to close the gap on the teams above them having also gained a midweek point at Manchester City.

“I want Sunday’s game to feel like the last day of the season because it’s the game that we need to win,” the head coach said.

“I want the ground to be full, sold out. We all know how important it is.”

Standard tickets for Sunday’s game are on sale now, priced at £25 for adults, £19 for over 65s and just £10 for under 16s.

Hospitality for the game is available from just £50 per person.
