Lynden Gooch has received his first-ever call-up to the senior United States squad.
The American-born midfielder has been named in a 23-man squad for an historic friendly against Cuba having enjoyed an impressive start to the new season.
Gooch left the UK bound for Miami before the US squad head to Havana for a first game on Cuban soil since 1947 on October 7.
Jurgen Klinsmann's side will then host New Zealand in Washington four days later.
