Experienced defender says youngster has done well.
Titus Bramble says he's been impressed by defensive colleague Danny Rose.
Rose has been a regular selection since completing a season-long loan move from Spurs on the final day of the summer transfer window.
The England under-21 international has quickly become a crowd favourite on Wearside and Bramble admits the youngster has been impressive.
“I think Danny is a fantastic player and as a natural left-back he gives us that extra stability,” he told SAFC TV.
“I knew Danny was a good player, but I didn’t realise just how good he is.
“He can attack and defend and does both comfortably.”
Meanwhile Bramble admits he was disappointed not to get on the scoresheet for the first time this season against Arsenal.
The centre-back fired wide in a scramble during the second half of Sunderland’s 1-0 defeat and felt he should have done better.
“I thought a goal was on the way,” he said.
“I should have scored. I’m not used to being up there; I rushed it and missed the target.
“We created lots of chances and I think we can take positives from that.”
