: SAFC and Fulwell 73 support Arts For Impact Campaign

Sunderland AFC and transatlantic entertainment company Fulwell 73 have made a donation to Big Give’s Arts for Impact campaign.

The donation ensures Sunderland Culture has surpassed its £20,000 target and raised in excess of £27,000, which will support arts and culture charities working to achieve societal impact within the City of Sunderland.

By removing barriers, it allows children less able to access cultural activities to enjoy experiences that nurture their creativity and curiosity.

The programme includes events at Arts Centre Washington, the National Glass Centre, the Northern Gallery for Contemporary Artand Sunderland Museum & Winter Gardens.

Already a creative powerhouse, the City of Sunderland also recently received approval for Fulwell Cain’s Crown Works Studios to progress, with planning permission secured on Monday.

All at SAFC are proud to be supporting the exciting development of our city, as a period of significant positive change begins that will deliver for our people for many years to come.
