Fan zone: Live music from The Antics

The Antics are set to perform ahead of Spurs.

Local indie rock band The Antics will be taking their Arctic Monkeys and Strokes inspired sound to the SoL Fan Zone ahead of the Premier League clash against Spurs.

With total plays in excess of fifteen thousand, The Antics' material has been greatly heard on platforms such as soundcloud and local radio station Spark FM, as well as a few sneak peaks on their Instagram and Facebook pages.

Sometimes bringing numbers in their hundreds to their gigs, they never fail to disappoint live with their energy being passed onto the gig lovers that follow them. A set list mixed with covers and originals, sing a longs are a regular occurrence with their drummer sometimes taking centre stage for the encore, to belt out a rendition of an old anthem (usually Don't Look Back in Anger - Oasis). The band is on a joint venture with local indie band Far Pacific to bringing alive their brand new record label (Deckchair Records) and will be doing joint gigs across the city and the surrounding areas.

The band will be on stage from 18.45pm with the Fan Zone closing at kick off.
