Sunderland will face Queens Park Rangers in the third round of the EFL Cup.
The Black Cats will meet the Championship side at Loftus Road during the week commencing 20 September.
Sunderland secured their place in the third round after beating Shrewsbury Town 1-0 thanks to Adnan Januzaj's first goal for the club, while Rangers have overcome Swindon Town and Rochdale to progress in the competition.
Sunderland last played QPR at Loftus Road in August 2014, where a Charlie Austin goal was the difference maker.
A confirmed date and ticketing arrangements will be announced in due course.
