Heineken Lounge unveiled at recent home game.
Two lucky Sunderland fans took in the recent Wear-Tyne derby win from some of the best seats in the house after winning Strongbow’s caption competition.
Michael Morris and his guest were treated to a VIP day having won the exclusive contest, which is run via the club’s official Twitter page (www.twitter.com/safcofficial) in the build-up to every home game.
They were treated to a meal in the brand-new Heineken Lounge before watching from the West Stand as Fabio Borini scored a sensational late winner to secure a 2-1 victory.
Michael said: “I thoroughly enjoyed the day in the Heineken Lounge and the score topped it off.”
The new Heineken Lounge, which replaces the Strongbow Suite, also enjoyed a successful debut.
HEINEKEN®, who are a valued club partner, have packed some of their latest drinks technology into the sumptuous new lounge, including their exclusive SMART Dispense system.
The firm’s regional sales director, David Stewart, said: "SAFC is not only a key partner, but a great platform for our brands.
"Customers crave great cider and beer with a premium experience and that's exactly what we have created in the Heineken Lounge.
"I hope all the fans take the opportunity to enter this competition and I look forward to welcoming the winners to the Heineken Lounge."
Meanwhile, Sunderland AFC’s commercial director, Gary Hutchinson, is delighted with the new lounge, which is part of HEINEKEN®’s deepening commitment to the club.
“The Heineken Lounge looks fantastic and is a valuable addition to our hospitality line-up, which offers fantastic value,” he said.
“HEINEKEN® are one of our key partners and have made a significant investment to bring a superb hospitality experience to fans.
“We thank them for their continued and valued support.”
You could be seeing the new Heineken Lounge up close and personal at the next home game against Chelsea on December 4.
