Lucky Craig goes VIP for Everton clash.

Sunderland fan Craig Hellens looked on from some of the best seats in the house as the Black Cats beat Everton at the Stadium of Light last weekend.

Craig and his guest enjoyed a VIP hospitality day courtesy of Strongbow after winning safc.com’s exclusive caption competition.

“The whole day was a fantastic event - this is a super prize for any Sunderland fan,” Craig said.

"We were very well looked after by Heineken representatives and greeted on arrival by [SAFC legend] Dick Malone, who was very informative and interesting to meet and made time for us throughout the afternoon.

“Being taken down to pitchside before lunch was great as we got to sit in the dugout and view the stadium from a different angle.”

Craig looked on as Stephane Sessegnon netted the winning goal to secure a second successive win for Paolo Di Canio’s side.

And the special guest even got to meet man of the match Danny Rose after the game in the Strongbow Suite.

“Getting to meet Danny afterwards and have a photograph taken with him rounded off the day,” Craig added.

“The only downfall was how quickly the day went by.”

The Strongbow caption competition is run via the club’s official Twitter account (www.twitter.com/safcofficial).

An image is posted 90 minutes before the start of every home game, with fans invited to submit their best and funniest captions.

The winner, as selected by our panel, receives a pair of VIP tickets to the following fixture at the Stadium of Light.
