Sunderland’s first home game of the 2012-13 Barclays Premier League season is just days away, as the Black Cats get set to welcome new boys Reading to Wearside.

Martin O’Neill’s side kick off their home campaign at 3pm this Saturday (August 25) and fans will see a host of changes at the Stadium of Light.

The red and white faithful will make up the entire lower bowl at the Stadium of Light for the very first time, following the introduction of the new South Stand singing section, with away supporters being relocated to the Strongbow North Stand upper area.

The South East corner now boasts a lively and vibrant Family Zone for young Black Cats fans and their families, featuring colourful decor, interactive games and Playstations. Mascots Samson and Delilah will also be on hand to meet young fans and there’ll be give aways, face painters and a magician to keep youngsters entertained in the build up to kick off.

Matchday hospitality customers will also be wowed by the new Business Lounge, formerly the Durham Suite. The spectacular lounge combines stunning modern décor, sumptuous cuisine, unrivalled service and spectacular vantage points to offer the very best in matchday hospitality.
