Elliott Dickman’s side left Everton last weekend feeling slightly aggrieved after they earned their first point of the season.

The young Black Cats surrendered a three-goal lead in the closing stages after a hat-trick from Lee Connelly and a goal from Brandon Taylor had given the lads a commanding lead at Finch Farm.

However, that saw Dickman’s side end a run of six straight defeats and now the aim will be to gather some momentum.

Focus: Lee Connelly

With a hat-trick last weekend which included a sumptuous chip, Lee Connelly has rekindled the goalscoring spark that was so evident in his play during pre-season. The Scotsman will be keen to maintain his deadly streak as the under-18s look to claw their way up the U18 Premier League.
