Jones to undergo medical

Kenwyne Jones is in negotiations to join Barclays Premier League side Stoke City.

Sunderland striker Kenwyne Jones could be on the verge of a move to Stoke City.

The Trinidad and Tobago international travelled to the Potteries this morning for talks with Stoke boss Tony Pulis.

He is undergoing a medical this afternoon.

It's been a busy day already for Sunderland, who have tied up a season-long loan deal to bring John Mensah back to Wearside.
