Defender shares his Easter plans!
This month Samson caught up with defender John O’Shea to find out about his proudest footballing moment.

I hope so!
What would you design in an Easter egg decorating competition?
It would have to be me in my Sunderland kit of course.
What is your favourite part of Easter Sunday lunch?
I love it all, Sunday lunch is one of my favourite meals.
Delilah and I are going to be in an Easter egg rolling competition, have you ever done one?
I did when I was younger, I think my egg broke
Have you always played in defence?
I usually play in defence, but I have played in a few different positions, even once as a goalkeeper!
Have you played for any other teams?
I played for Manchester United for a long time with loans at Bournemouth and Royal Antwerp before coming to Sunderland. I have also played internationally for the Republic of Ireland.
What has been your proudest moment?
Winning the Premier League and Champions League with Manchester United and also captaining my country.
Who is your best friend on the team?
I get on well with all of the lads; I played alongside Wes Brown when Manchester United won against Chelsea in the 2008 Champions League final.
How long have you wanted to be a footballer?
I have loved playing football ever since I was young, before signing for the Manchester United Academy I played for youth teams back in Ireland.
Who is the quickest on the pitch?
Mignolet always has to be on his toes to make sure he makes saves.
