Another of Sunderland Women’s rising stars, Katy Watson played for Sunderland RTC and made her senior debut in February last year against Liverpool.
The quick young forward has gone from strength to strength since then, scoring three league goals, including the winner in the 3-2 River Wear Derby victory in January 2022, and won the Club's Women's Young Player of the Year award for the 2022-23 season.
Watson has also featured for England’s youth squads, and scored her first international goal this month as she scored England Under-18s only goal against Republic of Ireland under-19s.
