Scittish international defender John Auld played for Sunderland during 1890 to 1895.
He won two League Championships in 1892 and 1893, and the 1894-95 World Championship.
He made 100 league appearances for the Black Cats, scoring 5 goals.
Auld gained his first cap for Scotland on 19 March 1887 against England where they won 3–2.
