Trai Hume became Sunderland's first signing of 2022 when he arrived on Wearside during the 2021-22 January transfer window and has gone on to become a key figure in the side.
The Northern Irish international joined from the nation's champions Linfield and became a mainstay in the side amassing over 50 appearances for the first-team.
A right-back by trade, Hume is a tough-tackling and agile defender, played over 50 senior games during his teenage years in his homeland, with both Linfield and Ballymena.
His international senior debut came against Hungary in March 2022 and has gone on to make ten caps for his country.
