Jack Clarke first joined SAFC in January 2022 on an initial loan deal from Tottenham Hotspur until the end of the 2021-22 season.
Clarke came through the academy system at Leeds United and burst onto the first-team scene in 2018-19 as a teenager, earning the club's Young Player of the Year award.
He went on to join Spurs in a bumper deal before returning to Elland Road on loan, and has also spent time on loan with QPR and Stoke City.
In July 2022, Clarke signed a long-term contract to make his move to the Stadium of Light permanent, following a significant contribution during his loan spell as the team earned promotion to the Championship.
He went on to play a huge role in the side in their first season back in the second tier with his nine league goals helping them to a sixth placed finish.
