Four Sunderland Women players have received call-ups to their respective international teams for the international break.
Katy Watson has received another call-up for the Lionesses’ Under-19 squad, with the young team set to face France U19 and Norway U19s in the next week in Spain at the Camilo Cano Sports City and the Meliá Villaitana Hotel.
Mary McAteer will meet up with Wales’ senior squad as they take on Republic of Ireland at the Tallaght Stadium in Dublin.
Kosovo Women and Liz Ejupi are playing in the Turkish Women’s Cup, with the side set to face India, Hong Kong and Estonia.
Niamh Boothroyd has once again been called up to Northern Ireland’s U17 squad as they play Malta and Luxembourg.
