Following the end of the 2022-23 season, Esther Morgan’s loan with Sunderland Women has ended and she has returned to her parent club, Tottenham Hotspur Women.
Having joined in January, the 20-year-old made her debut for the Lasses against Manchester United Women in the FA Cup and played 10 times overall at both right and left-back, having a positive impact both on and off the pitch.
Morgan also featured for Wales’ senior squad while on Wearside, playing both times for her national side at the start of April – a 4-1 win against Northern Ireland and a 1-1 draw against Portugal.
