Following last year’s successful initiative, SAFC Women are once again collecting for Sunderland Food Bank this Sunday – the day of our fixture against Lewes Women at Eppleton.
Last year, more than 160kg worth of food was donated to the food bank from the collection – a fantastic effort from all involved for a great cause.
Fans are encouraged to support the initiative if they can by bringing food donations to the match, and a drop-off point will be situated next to the main turnstile.
Any support to the collection would be much appreciated and we hope to see you at the game on Sunday.
