Sunderland AFC will kick off their Checkatrade Trophy campaign at home to Stoke City on tuesday night.
Jack Ross’ first-team will welcome The Potters under 23 side to the Stadium of Light on Tuesday 4 September, at 7.45pm.
Tickets for the game are priced at just £3 for adults and £1 for over 65s and under 16s.
A Black Cat point will be allocated to season card holders who purchase tickets before 5pm on Monday 3 September.
Supporters are advised that tickets will be sold for the west stand area only for this fixture, unless high demand necessitates opening additional area of the stadium
The Black Cats, who have been placed into Group A of the competition, will then face Carlisle United at the Stadium of Light a month later, on Tuesday 9 October, kick-off 7.45pm. They will round off their group campaign away at Morecambe on Tuesday 13 November, kick-off 7.45pm.
From there, the top two sides from each group in the north and south section will advance through to the knockout stages.
