The Stadium of Light played host to a huge crowd at the weekend, with 31,079 supporters watching Sunderland AFC’s 2-1 victory over Charlton Athletic.
The Black Cats next game, a trip to Luton Town, is already sold out. However, supporters can ensure they don’t miss out on seeing Jack Ross’ side in action, with back-to-back home games coming up next week.
First up, Sunderland AFC welcome Sheffield Wednesday FC to the Stadium of Light in the first round of the Carabao Cup, on Thursday 16 August, kicking off at 7.45pm. The Black Cats enjoyed a fantastic run in the competition in 2013-14, culminating in a memorable day at Wembley for tens of thousands of Sunderland fans.
There are a range of family-friendly prices for this game, with 2018-19 season card holders able to take advantage of a special discount. A black cat point will also be awarded for tickets purchased.

Season card holders are advised that they will not be able to reserve their seasonal seat as only selected sections of the ground will be made available to purchase for this game.
Those supporters who don’t have season cards can still take advantage of affordable prices for the game.

Sunderland AFC then return to league action on Sunday 19 August, with Scunthorpe United the visitors to the Stadium of Light. The game is a 3pm kick off and tickets start from £20 for adults and just £7.50 for under 16s.
