Sunderland AFC supporters can now vote for their January Player of the Month sponsored by Seriös Group.
Abdoullah Ba enjoyed a strong start to the year with three assists and one goal. The bulk of his numbers were gathered in the 3-1 win over Stoke City where Ba laid on goals for Mason Burstow and Pierre Ekwah whilst adding to his own tally of three goals for the campaign.
In the heart of the midfield, Ekwah played a shining role in victories over Preston North End and the Potters. An assist on New Year’s Day against the Lilywhites was then bettered against Stoke City by sealing the win with an emphatic strike at the Stadium of Light.
Jack Clarke’s incredible campaign continues as he keeps up his record of earning a POTM nomination for every month this season. The winger produced a fabulous strike against Ipswich Town to add to his tally of 13 for the season whilst providing two assists for the month in wins over Preston and Stoke City.
In for his first nomination of the season, Nazariy Rusyn opened his account on New Year’s Day with a well-taken goal against the Lilywhites and continues to become a growing presence in the side.
