Matete made his sixth appearance for Oxford at the weekend in what was his third start for the club.

Their push for the League One play-offs took a hit after their defeat to Leyton Orient but they remain in sixth sitting a point ahead of Stevenage.

Bristol Rovers 2-1 Carlisle United

The 24-year-old winger played for the fifth time but Carlisle continue to struggle in their fight for League One survival.

Their eighth consecutive loss leaves them rooted to the bottom of the table.

Doncaster Rovers 1-0 AFC Wimbledon

Bass continues to be the main figurehead between the sticks at Plough Lane as he featured for the 38th time this season.

However, a 1-0 loss to Doncaster Rovers meant they slipped to 12th in the League Two table sitting four points outside the play-offs.

Nectarios Triantis and Eliezer Mayenda
Hibernian 2-1 Dundee

The Australian continues to feature regularly for the Hibees but Saturday was his first substitute appearance out of five for the Scottish outfit.

Triantis came on in the 84th minute to ensure Hibs ran out winners against Dundee.

Mayenda was part of the matchday squad that saw Nick Montgomery’s side take seventh place in the Scottish Premiership.

Darlington 2-1 Buxton

The 17-year-old shotstopper continues to impress on his month loan spell with the Quakers.

Young started in goal for the third game in a row and helped Steve Watson’s side on their way to victory over Buxton which was Darlington’s second victory out of their last three games.

Blyth Spartans 2-2 Boston United

The 20-year-old frontman clocked up his ninth appearance for the National League North side.

Gardiner, who has scored three goals for Blyth Spartans, came on as a second half substitute to inspire Jon Shaw’s side to come from two goals down to draw.

Dundalk 0-2 Galway United

The central defender was in the matchday squad for the Dundalk in the League of Ireland Premier Division but they fell to a 2-0 loss to Galway United.
