Starting XI: Two changes for Millwall test

Aji Alese and Bradley Dack return to Sunderland's starting XI as Mike Dodds makes two changes for today’s penultimate Sky Bet Championship home match of the season against Millwall.

Corry Evans returned to the Black Cats’ matchday squad for the first time in 454 days following a cruciate ligament injury picked up against Middlesbrough 15 months ago.

Trai Hume drops to the bench, while Dan Neil has not been included in the matchday squad.

Long-term absentees Dennis Cirkin, Niall Huggins, Jenson Seelt, Elliot Embleton, and Nazariy Rusyn all remain in the treatment room.

Dan Ballard and Callum Styles both face their former employer, the defenders represented Millwall a combined 55 times, during two loan spells with the Lions.

SAFC XI: Patterson, Pembele, O’Nien ©, Ballard, Alese, Styles, Rigg, Ekwah, Jobe, Clarke, Dack.

Substitutes: Bishop, Hume, Hjelde, Evans, Mundle, Ba, Aouchiche, Hemir, Burstow.
