We are delighted to announce Danny Batth has won the BLC Supporters’ Player of the Year award for 2022-23.
Initially establishing himself as a key player in the second half of last season’s promotion campaign, Batth has played 40 league games in the Sky Bet Championship as the team have kept 13 clean sheets so far.
The centre-half captained Sunderland for a large part of the season in the absence of Corry Evans, and has partnered several teammates in the heart of the defence.
