Starting XI: One change for Wembley

Alex Neil has made a solitary change to his starting XI for Sunderland’s Sky Bet League One Play-Off final against Wycombe Wanderers.

Elliot Embleton comes in for Jack Clarke in the Head Coach’s only alteration from the semi-final second leg at Sheffield Wednesday, as the team look to revert to a back four.

Lynden Gooch and Dennis Cirkin both start and are likely to operate as the full-backs, with Bailey Wright partnering Danny Batth in the centre of defence ahead of Anthony Patterson between the sticks.

Corry Evans captains the side and sits alongside Luke O’Nien in the middle of the park, with Embleton, Alex Pritchard and Patrick Roberts making up the advanced three.

Ross Stewart once again leads the line, spearheading from the front as he looks to add to his 25 goals so far this season to steer the Lads to potential promotion.

Aiden McGeady, Nathan Broadhead and Dan Neil are among the substitutes at Wembley.

SUNDERLAND AFC: Patterson; Gooch, Batth, Wright, Cirkin; Evans ©, O’Nien; Roberts, Pritchard, Embleton; Stewart.

Subs: Hoffmann, Doyle, Broadhead, Neil, Clarke, Matete, McGeady.
