Jack Ross was full of praise for his players after they produced a much-needed response to defeat Doncaster Rovers today.

After losing 5-4 at home to Coventry City, Ross made four changes to his line-up and was duly justified as the Lads raced into a 2-0 lead early on.

Charlie Wyke was his usual towering self as he nodded down for Lewis Morgan to lash home before he later turned finisher as he touched home Jimmy Dunne’s header.

The result sees the Lads remain in third with just four games remaining ahead of Monday’s trip to Peterborough United.
