Elliot Embleton has been named in England’s under-19 squad for the 2018 UEFA U19 Championship.
The Sunderland midfielder will be part of head coach Paul Simpson’s 20-man squad, as the Young Lions look to retain their title in Finland.
Embleton and his team-mates will start their tournament against Turkey in Seinajoki on Tuesday (KO 4.30pm BST).
Following their group opener, the Young Lions will face Ukraine on Friday 20 July before taking on France on Monday 23 July.
Should England progress from their group, they would reach the semi-finals while also qualifying for next year’s FIFA U20 World Cup in Poland.
The tournament, which is live on Sky Sports, will take place between 16 and 29 July.
