Team news:
Oviedo out of crunch match

Sunderland will be without Bryan Oviedo when they face Burton Albion on Saturday.

The Costa Rican joins Ty Browning, Donald Love, Jonny Williams, Lynden Gooch, Duncan Watmore and Joel Asoro in the treatment room.

In Oviedo and Love’s absence, Adam Matthews and Billy Jones have made timely returns to training with John O’Shea and George Honeyman also in action ahead of Saturday’s game.

Speaking to safc.com, Chris Coleman provided the latest team news.

“We lost Bryan Oviedo today after he limped off,” said the Welshman.

“Joel limped off on Tuesday, as we already know, and Donald and Lynden won’t be ready for the remaining games of the season.”

He added: “That’s all very disappointing, but John O’Shea trained today and came through it no problem.

“That’s good news and Billy Jones and Adam Matthews also trained today and came through it.”
