Sunderland have signed Welsh international midfielder Jonny Williams from Premier League side Crystal Palace on a season-long loan.
Williams, 23, progressed through the Palace youth system and made his senior debut for the Selhurst Park club in 2011.
He joined Ipswich Town on loan in 2014, returning for two spells the following season.
Williams represented both Nottingham Forest and MK Dons in 2015-16 and spent the entirety of last season back at Ipswich before extending his Palace contract this summer.
On the international front, Williams has made 17 senior appearances for Wales, for whom he qualifies through his father.
Before making his senior debut for Wales in 2013, Williams had won caps at U17, U19 and U21 level.
