- He was born in Brussels, Belgium, and began his youth career with FC Brussels in 2001.
- A winger by trade, the 21-year-old joined Manchester United in July 2011 from Dutch outfit Anderlecht.
- However, the Belgian star didn't break into the United fold for two further seasons as he made his senior debut in August 2013 against Wigan Athletic.
- Januzaj scored twice on his full debut for United as the Red Devils defeated Sunderland 2-1 at the Stadium of Light in October 2013.
