Our designated Foundation of Light matchday is coming up, when we face QPR on Saturday 16 March.
Local supporters can purchase two tickets for £20 (£10 each) for this game via their local school or sports club. Following the match, £5 from every pair of tickets purchased will be donated to the school or sports club as financial support.

700 supporters watched the Lasses cement their place in the Barclay's Women's Championship title fight on Sunday, incredible support. Now, a River Wear Derby is on the horizon as they face Durham Cestria in their next home league game.

Foundation of Light Day will see the Black Cats sport the Heart on Your Sleeve logo throughout the 90 minutes.
The special edition shirts will be signed and auctioned after the match to raise vital funds for the campaign that is trying to bring supporters together to help and inspire one another to live happier and healthier lives.

#BuzzChallenge – remember the game Buzz Off?! The nostalgia will come flooding back in the Matchday Fan Zone at the Beacon of Light with the Foundation of Light’s Buzz Challenge game – make sure you give it a go and try and make the leaderboard.
Red and White Week – the week before the QPR game from Monday 11 March, we’re encouraging everyone to celebrate the work of the Foundation by flying the red and white flag at their workplace, school or wherever they are and making a donation to the Foundation. Click here to donate.

Just before Christmas, the Foundation of Light launched their 'Design a Ball' competition. After over 200 entries three were shortlisted and put to vote on social media!
