Week Ahead: Coming up on Wearside

The Lads return from international duty this week, with two Easter bank holiday games in their sight lines.

At Eppleton on Sunday, the Lasses came out winners in the River Wear Derby, and know their league title hopes are in their hands going into another gameweek.

Off the field, season tickets are now on sale for 2024/25, with thousands of supporters already signing up for next season.

Men's Team:

The Easter bank holiday weekend brings with it a changeable schedule, as the Lads visit the Welsh capital on Friday 28 March to take on Cardiff City. Ahead of the clash, Mike Dodds will speak to the press on Wednesday 27 March.

They will then return home to place Blackburn Rovers on Easter Monday.

Women's Team:

Following a record league attendance in their Derby day win against Durham on the weekend, the Lasses are front runners in the Women's Championship race, sitting a point clear of Crystal Palace at this stage.

They head into another fixture this week with just three games to go, playing bottom-of-the-table Watford on Sunday, away from home. You can follow on from home via our dedicated X channel.

Ticket sales for the End of Season awards continue to climb towards a sell-out! We can't wait for this amazing evening, welcoming current and former players to celebrate the successes of the Men's, Women's and Academy side. Find out more about the event here.
