Over 5,000 Sunderland AFC supporters will be backing Lee Johnson’s side when they face Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium this evening.
We would like to thank fans for their incredible support and encourage them to stay safe and follow Government guidelines during today’s trip to the capital.
At what we appreciate is a time of incredible uncertainty, many fans have also been in touch to express concerns about attending the club’s festive fixtures at the Stadium of Light due to the rise of Covid-19 cases nationally.
The safety of our fans continues to be our absolute priority and to ensure nobody misses out this Christmas, we will be amending our daily festive giveaway.
Alongside season card holders, supporters that have already secured their seat will be entered into their corresponding prize draw.
Moving forward, fans, including season card holders, that purchase a ticket to one of our festive fixtures will have an opportunity to win each of the remaining prizes irrespective of the date they opt to purchase.
This will enable each individual to secure their seat when they feel comfortable to do so. It has been great to have you back at the Stadium of Light this season and we look forward to seeing you again soon.
