Join Team GB athletes at the Beacon of Light this Saturday on 24 August as the Nation’s Biggest Sports Day comes to Sunderland.
It’s the perfect way for the family to warm-up for the Lads’ match against AFC Wimbledon, with lots of free activities available for all ages and abilities.
From football to netball; golf to table tennis and dance the whole building will be bursting with activities. Supporting partner Toyota will on site with a giant Sunderland selfie board, you can make your own pancakes in the Beacon Kitchen and pick-up a Team GB themed cupcake for £1 from the Beacon café.
What’s more if you complete three or more activities you will receive your very own Team GB medal.
