Charity Event:
Bradley Lowery Foundation Gala Ball held

Hundreds of guests attended a Gala Ball to mark the official launch of the Bradley Lowery Foundation last night.

Club representatives including chief executive Martin Bain and manager Chris Coleman were joined by figures from across football and beyond, including former Sunderland striker Jermain Defoe.

Proceeds from the event will be split between the Foundation and the #ForBradley campaign, run in conjunction with the club.

The campaign aims to build Bradley’s Place – a respite holiday facility where families can spend precious moments with their children.

North-east neighbours Newcastle United and Middlesbrough were also represented, as were Everton as the community came together to support the event.

Gemma Lowery told safc.com: “I’m over the moon and so proud of what’s been achieved so far.

“Bradley made this legacy and we are going to continue it.

“We have Sunderland, Newcastle, Middlesbrough and Everton all here to support the night and I couldn’t ask for anything more.

“The football community has been fantastic from the start and the fact they are still continuing to support us is overwhelming.”
