Reading U21 2-1 Sunderland U21.

Sunderland Under-21s fell to a 2-1 defeat to Reading in the Premier League 2.

Joe Ryder put the Black Cats ahead with a close range strike after 20 minutes. Goals in either half from Jahmari Clarke and Jeremiah Okine-Peters sealed the comeback for the home side.

The Royals were level just before the break as Clarke headed home the cross from the left side.

The hosts had their second 15 minutes from time as a mixup in the midfiield allowed to Okine-Peters to pounce, finish past Cameron and confrim all three points for Noel Hunt's side.
