Sunderland Under-18s took part in the No Room for Racism enrichment programme, from the Premier League.
The Lads were tasked with researching historic or current players of Black and Asian heritage from our club, coinciding with Black History Month. The group chose to research : Pierre Ekwah, Jermaine Defoe, Rory Gregorie & Ki Sung- Yueng
Challenges were then held for them to answer questions on their chosen player which determined the difficulty of their footballing task, which would either be a cross bar challenge, a 1v1 or a penalty.
All teams demonstrated impressive knowledge with lots of questions answered correctly but the winning team was Jack Whittaker, Dan Parker and Jaydon Jones.
