SAFC Under-21 striker Harry Gardiner has been nominated for the Premier League 2 Player of the Month award for February.
The 19-year-old striker scored in all three of the young Lads' PL2 matches throughout the month, notching against Southampton, Derby County and Aston Villa.
Gardiner will next look to extend his run on Monday night at Eppleton as the U21s face Stoke City, against whom he scored twice in the reverse fixture back in October.
He has been nominated for the accolade alongside Carlo Borges (Manchester City); Omari Forson (Manchester United); Alfie Gilchrist (Chelsea); Omari Kellyman (Aston Villa); Divin Mubama (West Ham United); Romaine Mundle (Tottenham Hotspur), and Oliver Tipton (Wolverhampton Wanderers).
