Jack Diamond has joined Spennymoor Town on loan until the end of the season.
The Sunderland AFC forward has made three first-team appearances this season in the Checkatrade Trophy, while regularly featuring for the club’s Under-23 outfit.
Diamond, 19, will be hoping to bolster the Moors’ promotion credentials, with the Durham-based side currently third in National League North.
Spennymoor’s manager, Jason Ainsley, said: “Jack is someone we have been keeping an eye on for a number of weeks.
“His form for Sunderland’s Under 23s has been excellent, and with eight games to go, we needed to freshen things up.
“I would like to thank Kevin Ball and Sunderland for their support and cooperation in making this happen."
