With the 2019-20 campaign fast approaching, preparations within the academy have been taking place for pre-season.
A host of friendlies for our under-18 side and development squad have been pencilled in, with the groups set to return to the Academy of Light at the start of July.
Kicking off their warm-up fixtures on Saturday 6 July, Paul Bryson’s youth team and Elliott Dickman’s under-23s side will get put through their paces as they work towards the start of their respective Premier League campaigns by taking on a number of non-league teams across the north east.
