Cole Kiernan scored a brace on Saturday to help Sunderland under-18s defeat Sunderland RCA at Meadow Park.
The striker was in devastating form as he powered the Black Cats ahead before later converting a penalty after being sent tumbling inside the box.
RCA pulled a goal back in the closing stages, but Paul Bryson's side had done enough to secure the win.
